Saddles

The saddle is without a doubt the most personal choice on a bike. The proper saddle will make riding a dream, but a perch that doesn't fit you will rub you raw. Leather saddles like Brooks tend to wear in as you ride them, while old race saddles such as the Turbo tend to have more padding. With the advent of modern bib-shorts, race saddles have less and less padding, and rely on carbon hulls for flex and comfort. It all comes down to what you're comfortable with, and what feels right.
