We’re big fans of Vulpine at Kinoko Cycles, for a number of reasons. They’re a company that invests a huge amount of time and effort into designing, sourcing, testing, redesigning and creating their products. Their clothes are lovely as soon as you see them, but the level of innovation isn’t really clear until you’re wearing a Vulpine jersey. Perfectly cut for riding, the torso is long enough to cover your back suitably without riding up, and even the t-shirts have small rear pockets for your puncture repair kit or tyre levers. Where possible, Vulpine have done away with buttons (which tend to rip, or be difficult to manipulate with gloves) in favour of mangentic fastenings. It’s these little touches that make Vulpine truely unique.
It’s easy to get bogged down with these details, but it’s a great credit to Nick and his team that the clothes aren’t too techy – their use of gorgeous merino wool and deep colours mean they easily pass in the pub as simply a stylish top or some smart trousers.
A homegrown British company, there’s so much to recommend Vulpine that we had to collaborate with them for our exclusive staff uniform (the one that’s not for sale). We stock the entire Vulpine range, including a lot of pieces like the Women’s Alpine Jersey that is ! So drop by and get some of the most stylish cycling apparel available.
