Our friends at Brother Cycles have released two brand new track frames. The Swift is Brother Cycles amazing new oversized fixed gear frame. It’s an ideal bike for track or street riding, double oversize TIG welded tubing imparting serious stiffness for the track, but the geometry and carbon fork ensure a smooth ride. Custom chrome dropouts, and finished with dark grey metallic paint and black Brother branding, this is a real looker as well as an excellent frame. Watch the boys at Brother build up a Swift in the video above, and check out our mechanic Jamie’s build below.
In contrast to the modern looking Swift, Brother have updated their well received Reynolds Track Frame with this updated version. Instead of using reliable 4130, this frame opts for heat-treated Reynolds 725 chromoly thoughout, a high-quality butted tubeset that makes for a light and stiff chassis. The forks are also rounded Reynolds 725. The new frame isn’t just a change in materials, with a new custom seat cluster and the luscious new paint. It’s a gorgeous frame which could have been made at any time since the 50′s!
