Up top cruel winds may blow in from Siberia – down below it’s like a Summer’s evening in Provence. Two length options are available (mid or long) to offer leg insulation that won’t fall short. So even with a trouser leg rolled clear of your drivetrain there’s no risk of the cold creeping in.

At the business end a toe hugging, extra thick, footbed curls around your sole providing toasty heat, comfort and durability. Merino socks are also hygienic avoiding the odours that you can get from scratchy synthetics. Our socks dry super fast too, in case you don’t get your feet clear of that massive puddle.

 

Alongside our Italian factory we’ve perfected our own blend of 70% merino wool, with polyester for toughness, lycra and elastic for stretch and durability, to make an incredibly comfortable but also hard wearing sock.

We’ve gone classic British styling with stripes for the mid sock and polka dots on the long. Why not combine your socks with some classy lace ups and dial up the dapper. Post ride, recline, stretch out and let your socks hint at your gently British tastes.

VULPINE LONG SLEEVE MERINO ALPINE JERSEY

Merino is the ultimate temperature-regulating fabric, ideal for wicking away sweat (and therefore heat) if it turns unexpectedly mild, but it can also take the chill off you as you hammer down the Zoncolan. We’ve added a full-zip so you can go to the bathroom with ease, or zip right up to the neck as the snowline of your local climb home beckons.

No more social panic as you sip your fifth espresso. No odours shall pass. High quality merino is anti-bacterial and can prevent odours for days of heavy use. If you haven’t become a convert yet, try, its extraordinary.

As ever we have not scrimped on detail. The contrast zip with non-slip leather V-studded pull docks into a barriered neck without chance of chafing. The rear pockets have been refined to encourage ease of use and to increase load carrying. There are two angled side pockets and a zipped central rear pocket for valuables, out of the way of hydration packs. The two main pockets are closed with V-stitched engraved buttons – a nod to classic wool jerseys of the 50′s – and provide extra security.

The stitching is finest flatlock, to prevent rubbing on the inside, and we print all the necessary information on the inside of the jersey so there are no scratchy unsightly labels. There is silicon at the longer-cut rear to prevent slipping.

VULPINE SOFTSHELL JACKET

Created as the perfect mid-weight jacket for cycling in cool weather, yet subtle and stylish off the bike, the Vulpine Softshell has selectable reflective and visibility features so that you can ride safely, but flip back for your meeting / date / pint.

The design of the Vulpine Softshell hints at British military tailoring, with traffic-facing shoulder bars and crisp lines. It is made of the finest dual-layer fabric, with an outer water-resistant, windproof layer bonded to a tightly fleeced inner layer. Tiny ventilation holes are laser-cut under the arms, where it counts.

 

At the front there are two hand pockets. At the rear, two large, easily accessible cargo areas, one with magnetic contrast lined pocket flap, the other can fit a large lock. There is also a key and card zipped arm pocket on the right arm, with key carabiner. There are two additional large inner front pockets, perfect for maps or Top Secret documents.

This year we have improved an already superbly reviewed garment by making the Splash Guard removable, raising the collar, making it more wind proof and adding water proof zips.

The Softshell is ideal in cool to mild conditions, but also makes an excellent outer shell in the deep cold. The water-resistance is ideal for persistent drizzle or a sudden shower. Hard-wearing, this tough utility jacket is designed to perform and look great under the rigours of an active life.
