Castelli Tenerissimo 2 Tight

More Info

The Castelli Tenerissimo 2 Tight is for getting in those kilometers in the long winter months on the road. The Thermoflex fabric provides windproof protection whilst still being breathable and offering warmth from the brushed fleeced inner. The women’s-specific KISS3 pad provides extreme comfort for those long days in the saddle. It includes silicone leg grippers to ensure they stay in place while your putting the power down. The reflective ankle zippers increase visibility in low light conditions that you often endure in the winter months. These tights are made to keep you warm and extremely comfortable.

"The women-specific Kiss 3 pad in these bibs was a highlight, being the perfect thickness - neither so thick it bunched up, nor so thin it made for sore bones after an hour or so." - Cycling weekly. They rated the product a 4.5 out of 5 in their review.

Brand Info

While Castelli have only come to the fore of professional cycling in the last few years, they trace their heritage back to 1876 in Milan. The company that started as a single tailor, making jerseys for AC Milan, Juventus, and the Milan Ballet, eventually was bought up by Maurizio Castelli, who made the first silk skin-suits for Fausto Coppi's time trials. Heritage apart, Castelli are now well represented in the pro-peloton, supplying Garmin - Sharp with extremely well respected technical garments, from shoe-covers to full skin-suits.
