More Info

Morvelo Eroica Race Shorts: Inspired by the classic sportive of L’Eroica, run on the gravel roads around Tuscany on vintage bikes with vintage clothing, which then in turn inspired the instant classic ProTour race Strade Bianche.

Cycling shorts could be the most important piece of cycling kit that you'll ever own. When made correctly they'll let you cover hundreds of miles in supreme comfort leaving you to focus on either the beauty of the landscape or the suffering of your fellow escapees as you attack the final climb. They are also the piece of clothing that comes under the most abuse so it's vital that they not only look good but work faultlessly.

We use Power Lycra from the long established Italian fabric experts M.I.T.I. (Manifattura Italiana Tessuti Indemagliabili) to create a snug compression fit that eases muscle fatigue and a dual layer perforated chamois that is designed to excel on 2hr - 6hr rides. They have also been extensively tested in short and harsh Crit and Cyclocross races as well as 24hr solo MTB races so we know they are incredibly adaptable and perform to the highest standard. Created from 2 levels of high density memory foam using the latest in aircell technology to reduce pressure points, the first level provides maximum shock absorption for the hip and pelvic bones leaving the perineal area without pressure for additional comfort. The second level of perforated foam allows for supreme ventilation and moisture management. The chamois is then covered with a soft but resilient outer layer. Our Printed Gripper Elastic (PGE) keeps a firm yet gentle grip around the legs and the high stretch M.I.T.I. perforated mesh on the bibs provides maximum flexibility whilst keeping everything in its place. No matter what you ride our shorts will keep you rolling in comfort even if your legs and lungs are screaming you to stop.

Our shorts are designed to grip tightly yet still enable freedom of movement for maximum performance.

Brand Info

After 25 years of riding and racing all types of bikes, Oli Pepper and Dave Marcar they felt that they should take this passion for cycling and combine it with their 15 years of graphic design experience. Their frustration was there wasn't a brand that encompassed cycling in all it's forms, with its rich and varied culture. The Morvelo way encourages starting from one corner of the bike world and then spread out to explore the others. Before you know it you have a whole shed full of different bikes to take you on different journeys. The pure elegance of track, the speed of road, the challenge of cyclocross and the dirt of MTB. It's all about the ride
