EAI (Euro-Asia Imports) was started in 1973, when ex-Navy Cycling Team (and veteran) Bob Hansing decided to use his considerable knowledge about cycling to source products from across the globe and make them available in America. Bob's role was pivotal in bring rare frames and parts from Italy and Japan to America, and he also began to collaborate with manufacturers to produce EAI parts that would rival the quality of the other parts he was importing. Whilst Bob has passed away, the company is still run by his daughter, and, in testament to his commitment to sourcing the best quality components, EAI parts are now routinely used by world-class athletes in Track and Road racing.
