This frame was custom made for Tokyo Fixed.
This is a very cool track frame. At a glance it looks like any NJS style track frame, but to the discerning eye it's absolutely unique. Firstly it has Cherubim signature parts such as the painted seat stay ends and gold painted head tube badge, but what is really special about this frame is the long point lugs Shin Ichi chose to use and the slotted style seat tube cluster. You will rarely find lugs like this, most commonly used on old English track frames. The fork is also stunning, with a slight bladed look and a long curve like the blade of a Katana.
Cherubim has used custom drawn Kaisei tubing with a equivalent feel to Columbus Spirit.

Cherubim frames are made by the great Shin-ichi Konno. Shinichi is from a family of frame builders with his father building Cherubims for over thirty years, and his uncle starting the famous 3 Rensho brand.
Cherubim is continuing the family tradition pushing the envelope for steel frames using custom built hardware such as specially bent tubes and incredibly light custom tubing from Japanese manufacturer Kasei. He has been honoured with the Best Track Bike award and Presidents Choice at the North American Hand Built Cycle Show in 2009 and 2010. In 2011, we took a Cherubim Piuma to Bespoked Bristol, where it won the Best Road Bike award.
The heart of Cherubim's works, however, is in track bikes. In previous years Cherubim have built for Olympic teams and champion keirin riders. Cherubim still offers custom NJS models as well as full custom track frames.
