"Build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm, use business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis" Patagonias mission statement says it all.

Their roots in alpinism and climbing in the 1950's led to the development of Patagonia in the 1970's by a team of climbers, surfers and skiers, who realised the need for more technical clothing, specific to their activities. They developed technical fabrics using new technologies and paved the way for contemporary outdoor clothing.

This Jacket was made with snow in mind, and we think it'd be an absolute asseton and off the bike in the Northern Hemisphere winter, a go-anywhere, do-everything waterproof/breathable shell, our new Triolet Jacket comes through with a trusted 3-layer GORE-TEX® Performance Shell with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Features include a helmet-compatible, 2-way-adjustable hood with a laminated visor for optimal visibility, the sleek Touch Point System" embedded cord locks in the hood and hem for quick adjustment without opening the jacket, and pockets that stay clear of harness and pack lines. Other detailing: low-bulk, watertight, coated zippers on the pit zips and pockets, low-profile cuff closures and full-reach gusseted underarm panels for mobility.
