Whisper Plus Deluxe

More Info

The Whisper Plus Deluxe is as close to Pro-team issue as us lowly consumers can get. Just 260g for a medium lid, the huge number of vents and dual flow technology means that you stay as cool as possible, even at low speeds, and will barely notice the weight on your head. The slick outer surface is supposed to help you slide in the event of a crash, rather than grabbing the tarmac and jarring your neck. Combine that with the CES technology which diffuses impact around the helmet for maximum safety, and the In-Mold construction to improve impact resistance, it's no surprise how many pro riders use these helmets.

Not only safe, the MPS system that Catlike helmets use means that you can precisely control the fit of your helmet. The helmet also has a lowered back, to protect the important rear of your skull and neck in the event of a bad crash. The soft straps and padding, combined with the venting, means that the Whisper Plus Deluxe is one of the most comfortable and least intrusive helmet's available.

- Dual flow: Directs air flow through the helmet for increased cooling comfort
- 39 air intakes
- CES (Crash Energy Splitter): Dissipates impact energy to increase safety and save weight
- LNP (Low nape protection): Increases protection for back of head
- In-Mold: Combines outer shell and inner body to increase impact resistance
- MPS (Multi-Positioning System): Allows for a tailored fit

Brand Info

Catlike are a new Spanish helmet manufacturer that have really quickly become a visible presence in the peloton with their exciting new designs. Started by ex-pro, Pep del Ramo with the idea to offer top notch cycling helmets to his fellow rider so that they could race faster and safer. It certainly seems to have worked, with Catlike helmets being worn by the entire Movistar team, as well as Tour de France Green Jersey Thor Hushovd and Olympic winner Sammy Sanchez.
