De Rosa

De Rosa lay claim to a heritage as rich as that of Cinelli or Colnago. Born in Turin during the boom of cycling design in the early 1950's, Ugo De Rosa quickly rose to prominence as one of the most respected builders in Italy. Used by such illustrious names as Moser, Van Looy, Merckx, the iconic heart-shaped cut-out has been featured on the podium of almost every major race in European cycling.

Heritage like that doesn't develop on its own. De Rosa frames are so well regarded because De Rosa have always pushed the boundaries of frame and material design. One of the earliest adopters of Ti and Aluminium in the early 90's, the modern De Rosa bikes have taken long years of development and created some truly stunning frames, comparable in quality to the masterful steel of their early bikes . All hand-made in De Rosa's factory in Milanino, the care and attention in each frame is immediately evident.
