Crank Brothers

Crank Brothers are a mountain bike and tool firm from Laguna Beach, California. They got their first break with the Speed Lever, released in 1997, it was hailed as a completely innovative product, and won best product of the year from a number of publications. Their next big hit was the Eggbeater, a tiny clipless mountain bike pedal that sheds mud and dirt with ease. Not content to rest on their success, Crank Brothers have moved in to tool design and wheel building, innovating as their go, including super-light trail wheels with the spoke nipples in the hub as opposed to the rim, and introducing their Speedier Lever, improving their breakthrough design.
