After having spent more than 20 years working with various helmet companies, Dennis Leedom realised that what would encourage people to keep themselves safe was an adaptable helmet that could be used for all sorts of sports, rather than specialised lids for each individual discipline. This lead Dennis to develop a range of helmets that has proven popular with both commuters and pro level athletes from snowboarders to BMXers. Not only does Bern stand for excellent safety helmets, they also support a number of great causes like the New York Bike Messenger Foundation and Grind for Life. Bern have also covered 300,000 miles since 2001 in a van that runs on vegetable oil and biodiesel, rather than petrol! Bern are now instantly recognisable as one of the leading lights in safety gear for whatever sport you want to excel in.
