Continental

Continental are one of the most trusted names in tyres. The majority of their tyres are still hand made in Germany, as they have been ever since the company started in 1871. Originally a rubber compound company, Continental have moved in to almost every area of tyre design and production. However, their huge scope doesn't mean that they are churning out quantity not quality. Philippe Gilbert, Tony Martin, Andre Griepel and Mark Cavendish have ridden to victory on Conti tyres, which is as good a recommendation as it's possible to give.
