Tullio Campagnolo founded the company in Vicenza, Italy, still the location of Campagnolo's headquarters. Campagnolo has been the at the forefront of cycling innovation right from the very beginning, Tullio designing the now ubiquitous quick-release axle. The quality of Campagnolo's road componentary can't be doubted, their prestigious association with Tour du France winners speaks for itself: Coppi, Hinault, LeMond, Fignon and Merckx all won the yellow jersey riding Campagnolo gear.
