Crank Sets

Crank sets, either with or without chainrings, are almost the focal point of bike components. Few things will have more impact on your performance than a high quality crankset, either a stiff track crank for sprinting round the boards or a light weight double for road riders tackling big hills. There are lots of factors to take in to account when picking a crank set like what bottom bracket do they need, how many chainrings will they accept, and what length do you need. Daunting at first, but a high-quality crankset transfers power so beautifully that the research is all worth while.
