Smooth as butter, feather light and fast as hell; the CAAD10 is the pinnacle of Cannondale's long and fruitful relationship with aluminium. While some people think that carbon is the only modern, raceworthy frame material, the CAAD10 is at the absolute top end of performance bikes. Weighing in at 1150 grams for the frame, that's easily competitive with a majority of carbon frames on the market. Combine with that low weight the race-proven geometry that's almost identical to the SuperSIX geometry that's propelled riders like Sagan, Viviani and Basso to Pro-Tour success and you've got the ideal frame for everything from club runs to fast crit racing.
The hydro-formed 6069 aluminium tubes are double welded, heat treated and specially butted to reduce the weight, increase the stiffness and improve the ride quality, including the same seat and chain-stay design, SpeedSave, from the SuperSix carbon bikes that give enough flex to minimise road buzz while keeping the frame as stiff as possible. The vertical give in the stays keeps the rear wheel tracking properly, increasing speed and cornering as well as comfort. This comfort, stiffness and speed is only aided by the full carbon tapered fork, which ensures front-end rigidity but without compromising on comfort.
The Cycling press have been unanimous in their praise for the CAAD10. Road.cc gave an Ultegra equipped CAAD10 a 4.5/5 star review, citing it's 'sharp and responsive feel' and the razor sharp handling. Bikeradaralso gave the CAAD10 4.5/5 stars, calling the frame stiff, light and very fast; "ruthlessly efficient", in fact.

Company: Everything from Tonic Fabrication is hand made in house by the two man team Landon & Tony. Everything, from custom-bending the tubes to CNC machining the hardware. This allows them the flexibility to construct some of the toughest, smoothest and most rugged frames we've seen in years. Tonic's background is ...
Nitto is probably the last handlebar and stem manufacturer of its kind still in business. We all marvel at the gleaming quality and craftsmanship of their products but very few people get to glimpse into the workings of the company. Last year I was lucky enough to visit their factory ...
