"Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto are the design duo behind Eley Kishimoto, whose stunning prints adorn their own line of womenswear, as well as collaborative products with the likes of Incase, Eastpak and Orlebar Brown. Their designs have made their way onto wallpaper, furniture and glassware, and thanks to a joint venture with Tokyo Fixed, this colorfully appointed fixed gear bike. The leather saddle and grips by Brooks contrast nicely with the green leaf print, which also comes in black. A matching bag has you ready for the road"
Tokyo Fixed was born in Tokyo and bred in London. The hearts of our bikes are in our London store where we do what we love; build custom bikes. We have used our extensive experience from dealing with the finest cycle brands to produce a range of beautifully crafted and classically inspired steel frames.
The pattern Eye Eye Ivy by Eley Kishimoto was hand painted on the frame by the very talented Tom Donohue.
The Tokyo Dream Machine is likely to be the most versatile single speed frame that you will find, and its versatility doesn't come at the cost of clean lines and good looks. This is the bike that we have always wanted to design and this simply comes down to the fact that, apart from vintage path racers, we couldn't find anything like it elsewhere. We developed the Tokyo Dream Machine for strength with an indestructible double plated fork crown and hand fillet brazed Columbus Zona steel tubing.
The Dream Machine is the perfect urban porteur bicycle. The top tube is flat giving a more classic look and feel, and we're using Columbus Zona which is a lighter, stiffer tubing than the original Thron. It's still a jack of all trades, but a better looking, lighter one.
Please note the bag is not included in the sale.
This frame has a level top tube so measurment listed is centre to centre.
- Hand fillet brazed construction with a fillet brazed to lug seat tube cluster
- Tubing: Columbus Zona Steel - Stainless steel cast dropouts - Internal cable routing
- Mudguard eyelets
- Front and rear rack mounts
- 27.2mm Seat post diameter
- 120mm Rear spacing - 1" Threaded Steerer
- Frame & Fork weight (560): 3.13kg
