Mission Workshop's Orion jacket is a fully-taped waterproof, breathable jacket cut for life on the bike. Made with 4-way stretch Schoeller c_change; this waterproof–breathable fabric is designed, developed, and manufactured in the Swiss Alps; the ultimate testing grounds for all conditions from sub-zero to sub-tropical. This Swiss made fabric is designed to react to changes in temperature and activity levels. As a result, the Orion jacket is the perfect waterproof jacket for an exceptionally wide range of environments, which makes use of the fabric as well as the well placed pit-zip ventilation.
The Orion is equipped with internal media pocket that has routing for your headphones, an external chest pocket, front-zipped hand pockets, touring style zippered rear pocket, and a removable snap-off hood. Tailored for riding, with articulated sleeves and cut slightly longer in the back for modesty and rain-splashes. Made in Canada.
Considering the quality, it's not surprising that this jacket has had nothing but favourable reviews. BikeRadar gave the jacket 4/5 stars, claiming "cut is beyond reproach", and praising it's stylish, sleek look. Ady from RCUK also complimented the fit, as well as the breathability and an image that doesn't scream 'I'm a cyclist'. The Road.cc review was similar in it's praise, they were amazed by the c_change fabric, as well as the versatility of the jacket as a whole.

Mission Workshop have been creating bags since 1994. Whilst they originally started in Colorado, the team have moved to San Fransisco's Mission District, and have landed on their feet. Trying to make bike gear that isn't garish and ugly, Mission Workshop have created some incredible products, half informed by riding, half by researching and sourcing extremely high-tech and practical materials. From heavy duty Cordura and Arkiv closure systems on their bags, to heat reactive Schoeller fabrics and covered seams in their clothing. Extremely high quality, Mission trust their bags enough to provide a lifetime warranty, but with gear made this functional and this tough, we've never seen one fall apart.
