London Courier Emergency Fund Cycling Jersey

More Info

The London Courier Emergency Fund make great clothes and kit, as well as organising events, to raise money for injured couriers. Couriers frequently work as sub-contracted freelancers, and are therefore not covered in case of accident or injury. These kits not only look cool, but are well constructed, lightweight summer kits with standard 3 rear pockets made by Hackney GT. The jersey has the LCEF logo on the breast, shoulders and back, and the LCEF initials on the side panels.

- Support the courier community
- Lightweight
- Well ventilated
- 3 rear pockets
- Silicon grippers

Brand Info

Looking after the people who keep the city working smoothly, LCEF provide a small amount of money to couriers who are knocked off or injured. Considering that most couriers are 'self-employed sub-contractors', they don't get sick pay or time off, they're only earning when they're riding. If that's not bad enough, riding through London isn't exactly the safest of jobs. The London Courier Emergency Fund tries to counteract the pretty wretched working conditions of London messengers by having a fund to look after couriers who are laid low for whatever reason. LCEF are definitely some of the good guys in cycling.
