Despite opinion from certain camps, saddlebags are an important part of riding seriously (that debate is settled here), and little is more serious than the Arundel Dual. It's called the dual because it's designed to carry 2 tubes, two gas canisters and a gas-valve, plus a little extra room for tyre levers and a small repair kit. It attaches with firm, double stiched velcro around the saddle rails, and has a leather patch that stops your saddle-clamp and rails rubbing through the fabric. It's a beautifully well-thought-out saddle bag, as you might expect from the people who make some of the most popular race cages in the pro peloton.
Bikeradars 4.5 star review of the Dual bag says a saddlebag should be seen and not heard, and this maxim holds true. Saddlebags are rarely noticable unless they're doing something badly, like swinging around or rubbing the back of your thighs. Road.cc called it a 'well priced, hard-wearing, minimalist saddle bag', and gave it 4 stars, while Velonews enthused about the slim profile, as well as the almost retro look. It seems that Arundel have cracked the code and created the perfect, small and unobtrusive saddlebag!
