Handlebars
Handlebars define how you handle the bike. There are hundreds of different styles and designs available, but only the individual rider can really decide what works for them. Drop bars offer lots of different positions, to let you alter your grip and your riding style easily. Riser bars, popular for mountain bikers, are often used for people riding in the city because they raise your riding position to better see and be seen. Bullhorns, devised to put the rider in an aerodynamic stretched out position, are equally common on fast street bikes as well as time-trial machines. Handlebars are above all a personal choice, but make sure you get the right clamp size for your stem.
