Chris King designed the first sealed-bearing headset in 1973, so you would expect them to know a thing or two about making decent ones. Still a benchmark in quality, Chris King headsets are instantly recognisable and well regarded the world over. They manufacture every part of their signature headsets in-house, from bearings up to cups and bolts to minimize waste and ensure each product is up to standard. Chris King have such faith in their products that they offer a 10 year warrenty against every model they sell.
The Sotto Voce logo is a more subtle contrast agains the colour of the headset, designed to better complement the design of the bicycle the headset is installed on. Sotto Voce (sot-toh voh-che) is an Italian term used in music to denote a dramatic lowering of the tone. It literally means “under voice” but can be translated as “soft voice”.
2Nut is the preferred headset for anyone using a threaded fork and quill stem in combination with headset spacers and/or a cable hanger. It is a popular headset with cyclocrossers and randonneurs.
The 2Nut features stainless steel sealed bearings housed in aluminum upper and lower cups. Adjusting nuts and lock nuts are also made of aluminum.

Chris King designed the first sealed bearing headset in 1976. Thirty-three years later, the King headset remains a benchmark for quality. No other bicycle component can claim the precision, performance and absolute reliability of a Chris King headset. They even produce their sealed bearings in-house.
Whilst their headsets are probably the most recognisable and most highly regarded headsets in existence, they also produce many other high quality products and accessories, all made to the same exacting standards of their headsets. Chris King is a name that should inspire confidence in any cyclist.
