The Sticky, perhaps more than any other bike, is the perfect exemplar of Cherubim's signature style. Skinny Kasei tubes keep the bike looking like a classic road bike, whilst Cherubim has maintained a slim 25.4mm diameter downtube, which reduces the fatigue of long miles without affecting the performance. Apparently the give in the downtube helps pedal rhythm, something that can be lost with the huge, over-sized tubes so favoured by modern bikes.
While the Sticky might eschew the percieved advantages of beefy tubes, it's definitely a performance bike. The idea behind the frame is to build a bike which has millisecond reactions and a puts a spring in your step, especially when climbing. A perfect bike to break away on a hill or pounce on a sprint, the curved seat stays reduce the harshness of the ride without compromising your ability to put the power down when necessary.
Coming with a 1" steel Hawk fork, the Sticky is an amazing example of the beauty of a custum build. The signature lugs, drop outs and braze ons come to the fore with the beautiful chroming and paint.
- The Sticky can be made for 650 wheels, or with a horizontal top tube

Cherubim frames are made by the great Shin-ichi Konno. Shinichi is from a family of frame builders with his father building Cherubims for over thirty years, and his uncle starting the famous 3 Rensho brand.
Cherubim is continuing the family tradition pushing the envelope for steel frames using custom built hardware such as specially bent tubes and incredibly light custom tubing from Japanese manufacturer Kasei. He has been honoured with the Best Track Bike award and Presidents Choice at the North American Hand Built Cycle Show in 2009 and 2010. In 2011, we took a Cherubim Piuma to Bespoked Bristol, where it won the Best Road Bike award.
The heart of Cherubim's works, however, is in track bikes. In previous years Cherubim have built for Olympic teams and champion keirin riders. Cherubim still offers custom NJS models as well as full custom track frames.
During Bespoked Bristol, we were fortunate enough to host Shin-Ichi Konno of Cherubim Cycles. We were extremely proud to exhibit some Cherubim bikes, including the show-stopping, NAHBS-winning Rambler. Having one of the most respected frame-builders in the world on your stall is excellent, not only for the show-goers but for ...
